YOUR CHURCH FOR COMMUNITY

New to the UK?

Welcome to City Church! We're so happy you're here. God's love knows no borders. So we are dedicated to being a welcoming community, reaching out and serving people from all nations and backgrounds.

Welcome to City Church! Bienvenido! 欢迎你! Welkom! Ласкаво просимо!

We are so glad that you are here. City Church is a multi-cultural church with more than 40 nationalities. We would love to be your home away from home.

We understand that moving to a new country can be challenging, and we want to help make your transition as smooth as possible no matter your faith, culture, or level of English.

We organise events throughout the year for you to find out more about British culture and meet others new to the country.

We'd like to help you:

Meet and connect with others new to Manchester
Learn more about British culture and customs
Find practical support and advice on UK life
Grow in faith and discover the love of God

Here are our upcoming events for you if your new to the UK:

Sundays

If English is not your first language, you can find the sermon transcript online at citychurchmanchester.org/transcript to help you follow along. You can also borrow a Bible in English, Mandarin, Spanish or French. But of course, we would love for you to feel like you belong to the wider church family – because you do! For this reason, we encourage you to take part in our Equip training tracks and to be part of a Connect group.

Exploring Christianity

If you're not a Christian, why not join a course to explore the Christian faith and the Bible? If language is a barrier, we run a group where you will be able to investigate and ask questions at your own pace.

International Students

We love students and we organise a lot of activities and events throughout the year – we would love to get to know you!

If you want to practise your English, learn more about culture and make new friends, iCafe is on every Monday 7-9:30pm at Union Hall, Stretford Road, M15 6DY.

It's open to all international students. Optional Bible studies are on offer.

To find out more, please visit the iCafe website or the Friends International Instagram page.
